Short Description

Bhoomi is a Tamil action drama movie written and directed by Lakshman and is produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar. The movie features Jayam Ravi and Nidhhi Agerwal in the lead role. The soundtrack and background score composed by D Imman. 

The film is being directed by Lakshman, with whom Ravi had earlier worked in two projects - Romeo Juliet and Bogan. Actor Nidhhi Agerwal of Savyasachi fame will be making her debut in Kollywood with this film. The actor recently revealed that the movie will portray her in a new light.

The film is being bankrolled by Sujataa Vijaykumar’s Home Movie Makers who had previously produced Karthik Thangavel’s Adanga Maru also with Jayam Ravi in the lead. The film has music by D Imman and cinematography by Dudley.

Judging by the poster, he seems to be playing the role of a farmer, who is seemingly set to lead a revolt on behalf of his fellow farmers. Lakshman, however, had said earlier that Bhoomi would be very different from the typical farmers’ issue-based films that we have seen of late.
